Still Life Oil Painting

Join us as we work with and explore the rich and beautiful medium of oil paint. During this workshop we will use a light and dark pattern to draw out and paint a flower still life. With nothing digital or photographic you can almost imagine you’re an artist of the past just working from life in a beautiful space!

You’ll be painting along with Anna Pederson, an artist and art teacher who recently returned from teaching in Niger, Africa.

She is a student at the Hein Atelier of Traditional Art and has a great enthusiasm for drawing and painting.

We will focus on drawing, colour mixing, values, and dynamically applying paint.

All levels of skill are welcome. If you are a beginner you will receive all the instruction needed to make your painting successful.

All of the materials are included.

You may want to bring clothing that can get paint on it!
