In case you were wondering…

  • Can I bring my dog?

For the safety of our free-range livestock and geese and the protective nature of our livestock guardian dogs we cannot allow animals from outside the farm to visit. Thank you for your understanding.

  • Can I bring my children?

Supervised children are always welcome when we are open and during family friendly events.

Families with children 12 and up are always welcome for B&B stays.

  • Do you have a petting zoo?

We do not have an area for children to go in with our animals. We do have our farm dogs, cats and many bantam chickens that run free on our property, however they liked to be viewed not touched.

  • Are the dogs friendly?

Yes. Our dogs are great with humans and Zeus is known to lean up against our visitors for cuddles. They are not allowed in the suites no matter what good company they are. 

  • Can I feed the animals?

Our animals are fed very specific organic diets and therefore cannot have any human food under any circumstances. It can make them very sick. This includes dog biscuits. Zeus had to have stomach surgery due to food sensitives so we are extremely cautious.

  • Is there a public washroom?

We do have a public bathroom. It is not wheelchair accessible. We are on a septic system so please do not flush anything down the toilet other than toilet paper.

  • Is the farm wheelchair friendly?

It is possible to push a wheelchair on our farm but there are many uneven surfaces. The public bathroom is not wheelchair accessible.

  • Can I pick the flowers?

We currently host a seasonal flower u-pick where you are welcome to buy a ticket and take home your own flowers. Picking is strictly available only during this time

  • Can I bring alchohol to the farm?

In most cases you cannot, however if you are planning an event there are special permits that will allow it under certain circumstances. If you are unsure or would like to get a permit please speak to the farm owner first.

If you book to stay in one of our suites, you can bring your own, but you cannot do so otherwise unless you are having an event here and apply for a liquor license and alcohol liability insurance. In the event you attend one of the events hosted by Sage & Solace the law requires that we purchase and sell the alcohol.
